Your questions

Can I drive the vehicle myself?

No. The vehicle comes with a driver only. It is a condition of our insurance, and it guarantees the 4x4 is driven by someone who knows it.

Is there a minimum rental length?

Yes, two days. The vehicle and the driver are tied up for a whole day as soon as they set off, so we do not offer one-day rentals. Two days in the Douala zone comes to 130,000 FCFA.

What if the trip lasts longer than planned?

You tell the driver, or you call us. Each extra day is charged at the same daily rate as your booking. Nothing is marked up because you are already on the road.

Who pays for fuel?

Fuel is paid by the client. Two options, chosen when you book: either you pay for it yourself on the road, or we add it to your rental invoice. Either way, you get an estimate before departure.

How is the exact price worked out?

From the zone your destination falls in, the number of days and the purpose of the journey. The grid above gives the daily rate for each zone; you receive a firm price in writing before departure, and that price does not move.

Is a deposit required?

Yes. A deposit of 35% of the rental amount is paid by Mobile Money before the keys are handed over, against a receipt. For two days in the Douala zone, that is 45,500 FCFA. It is not an extra charge: the deposit is taken off the price, and the balance is settled at the end of the rental. Nothing is paid on this site.

Is the vehicle insured?

Yes. The vehicle is insured and its paperwork is up to date. The documents are on board and can be checked at handover.

Will you really go all the way to my destination?

We cover the whole of Cameroon. Bamenda, Buéa and Limbé are handled on quotation. Put your destination in the form: if a journey is not workable, we will say so plainly rather than waste your time.

What happens if the vehicle breaks down during the trip?

The vehicle is checked before every departure to limit that risk. If it is immobilised, we cover the repair and that day is not charged.
